Villa Francisco Reviews
This is our second stay at Villa Francisco and we reallly like the property - the garden is excellent for our small children to run around as well as inspecting the frogs in the pond, whilst the pool is obviously great to have. The property is spacious and simple, so Im sure well look to book again in the future. Thank you.
We had some minor inconvenience and we would recommend Agni Travel for their professionalism, reactivity, and close contact with their local agents.
Wonderfull Vila that makes you feel right at home with lush gardens and a big beautiful size pool.
Lovely, Lovely, Lovely. Totally secluded. Large gardens. no traffic noise or anytime else to disturb you. BBQ we used most days; its right next to the pool and is covered from the sun. beach is a short drive. Porto Pollensa less than 10mins. Fabulous stay.
Simple but nice villa in a beautiful garden within easy walking distance of Pollensa. Excellent place to stay for a relaxing vacation.
We had a great stay at Villa Francisco. The villa was exceptionally clean and tidy, and we didn’t really miss having air conditioning as the fans worked well in the bedrooms. The garden is stunning with a large pool with a proper deep end. Would definitely recommend! Just need to point out that the Villa takes some finding, especially if you arrive after dark so check the directions.
Loved the island. Parking, pool, gardens, villa terrace and table good. Villa did not meet expectations. Also need to improve/explain why access to roof space is labelled as private rather than a baby gate and piece of paper sign. One feels compelled to check what is there and that the villa is secure.
We have stayed in properties in this part of Mallorca a few times and whilst this villa wasn’t perfect, the outside space and location made up for it. Location - Just of the main road between Puerto Pollensa and old town Pollensa. The former is great for people watching, the beach and dinner on the sea-front has lots of choices, just don’t expect too much from the restaurants here, the closer they are to the action, the less hard they have to try. Pollensa old town, if you fancy decent food, with a bit more culture, big squares with all sorts going on in the evening and safe for the kids to explore. Villa Francisco is surrounded by a garden centre type place, not open to the public, just where they grow plants and park a few vans, no noise and a very private environment. Outside the front a big tree that provides shade all day for the car, which means it’s not boiling hot when you first get in. Turn right on the main road and you have a Euroski and Lidl supermarket less than a minute by car or 10 by foot, being out of the town, they also charge sensible prices and are not rammed all day. Another min further up the road is a huge outlet/hardware shop that sells almost anything you could want, pool inflatables, swimwear, fishing stuff and everything that you might find in a B&Q. The beaches of cala san vincente are a 10 minute drive and well worth a visit. There are countless other beaches within a short drive and plenty of exploring. The Villa Inside - Basic but functional would be fair. The bedrooms are fine and the beds are fine, shutters all round mean that the lack of aircon isn’t a problem if you use the fans to either push out warm air in the day or suck in cool air in the evening. The shutters are slatted which means you can leave the windows open without sacrificing security. The bathrooms are fine, I’ve seen better showers and the villa appeared to have an issue with the water pump cutting in and out when showering, which was a bit annoying, but not really an issue that required any intervention, they worked fine, just with surges in pressure. I will report this and no doubt it will be resolved by the next rental. The living room and kitchen were one room with plenty of space. The fridge was adequate, but struggled for a few hours when will filled it with food. The TV had cable and local channels, but crucially also was a modern samsung with HDMI ports for you could plug a chromecast/amazon firestick/laptop source into to and watch what you want. The WIFI was more than quick enough (at least 20Mbps up and down) to allow streaming of movies, uploaded photos etc. The living room could have done with another fan (we used all 3 rooms and had a fan in each) to keep it cool in the evenings, but with the doors open to the patio, it soon cooled down. The Villa Outside - This is where the villa really scores, the gardens are amazing, fruit trees, palms and lots of flora everywhere, clearly well maintained. All the marketing photos try to hide the fact that at the top end of the garden is a series of 3 very large ponds, all interlinked, with one containing carp and the other two full of lillies and stuffed with frogs. I guess they think this might put people off, we loved it and the kids loved watching the frogs. They are fenced off, so no worries with young kids and being full of frogs (and I’m talking hundreds!) they don’t give much chance for the biting insects to get a hold, although my wife was bitten a couple of times, but she would get bitten in a vacuum in space. The pool is amazing, with lots of space and a proper deep end. You can see it from the living room and from the patio and the whole outside area is completely private, not looked over from anywhere, all you can see is fields, mountains, palm trees and blue sky. It really is the perfect location from this perspective. Being so close to all the trees and plants, they was a few leaves and stuff in the pool each day, but 5 mins with the net kept it clean. The pool has great lights for a late night swim and the kids could make as much noise as they wanted without annoying anyone else. Animals - The odd cat came around when they could hear we were eating, but didn’t hasle for food and really didnt make a nuisance of themselves. There was also a large duck, sitting on eggs hidden next to the patio, it was quite cute and made some interesting noises, got no idea if the eggs will ever hatch, but she spent almost everyday on the nest only going to the pond when we were out. She also took to going to the same spot on the side of the pool each day for a poo, which was very easy to just rinse off with a bucket of water. The frogs made some noise at night, but nothing compared to some I’ve heard and certainly less than the normal cicada noise. Aircon - We debated if no aircon was going to be an issue before booking and decided we would chance it. The weather was hot, 35c everyday, only dropping to 25c overnight. The fans coped and the pool was used for cool downs when needed. I wouldn’t be put off with lack of aircon - but big ceiling fans would make things better than the supplied free standing ones, which were still OK. Summary - We’d stay again for sure. If it was my villa, I’d upgrade the fans, sort the water pump and perhaps add fans in the living area and on the patio. (oh and a diving board) the it would be perfect. Family of 4 kids 11 & 14
We had an excellent stay in this villa. Outdoor area was brilliant.
We had a few nice days in the Villa!
The villa was excellent - lots of living space, good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms and a delightful garden and pool area.
Had a lovely holiday. The outside area was fantastic and suited our group of friends perfectly. Well equipped villa in a great location. A comfortable villa with great outdoor space.
Overall we had a wonderful holidays Mallorca is a beautiful island compact and various. Location of the villa near a cosy and relaxed town of Pollenca (30 min walk) and lovely beaches of Cala St Vincent and Cap de Formentor is perfect It is also convenient for excursions to other wonderful places in Sierra Tramuntana. The villa itself is very comfortable and spacious with a lovely big garden and swimming pool big enough both for kids and adults. It has all the things you need including washing machine, iron and dish washer. We will definitely come back
We had a wonderful time and the villa was beautiful. The only small maintenance problem we had was dealt with very swiftly. We would be happy to deal with Agni Travel again. Thank you.
Our stay was perfect. The garden is wonderful with a great outdoor pool, pool chairs, BBQ area... The kitchen is well equipped with enough dishes for everyone. Each bedroom has a built-in cabinet for storage. The bed were comfortable. I would truly recommend the villa to my friends and family.
I liked Mallorca very much. The outside of the villa was very beautiful.
We enjoyed the use of the villa and related facilities and consider that it represented good value for money. The personal contact from Agni Travel via text was a nice little touch.
If anything the web site probably understates the relative privacy and very well maintained gardens that are available to patrons.
A delightful villa - immaculatety clean on arrival with one of the warmest pools I have experienced in Majorca.
We had a nice stay in villa Francisco. Everything was so we had expected. Thank you very much.
Lovely villa situated within well tended gardens. Quiet and secluded. Sun bathing was a pleasure as was Porto Pollensa and its gorgeous beach which was less than 10 minutes drive away. We needed a get away from it all holiday and Villa Francisco fitted the bill perfectly.
First time we've been to Mallorca in July but we know the Pollensa area fairly well. Lovely to have warm pool and sea water. We had a great holiday Villa Francisco was a perfect base.
Excellent stay, excellent location, very well organized.
The house and gardens are well maintained and in very good condition pool and barbecue are fantastic.
Very pleasant and quite well-equipped villa. Grounds and lovely garden also very well-kept and maintained.
